We are:
Half an hour from Bristol
Two and a half hours from London
50 minutes from Bath
50 minutes from Gloucester
45 minutes from Cardiff
Combine a group visit to us with a visit to nearby High Glanau, – an Arts and Crafts garden sensitively restored by Helena Gerrish, who has recently published a book about its designer, Avray Tipping. Helena is happy to offer tours of her garden with cream teas. Contact Helena on tel 01600 860 005
If you are looking for a holiday in the area here is a selection of self catering cottages in the locality. This site also includes other local attractions and places to eat. Bed and Breakfast? Try The Nurtons or Coalpits Farm
Please don’t plan ‘recce’ visits when we are closed for the year (ie from October to May) – we need the break and such visits absolutely don’t do justice to the garden. We regularly have coach parties, so if that is your worry feel reassured that you should have no problems. (see How to find us)

Discovering Gardens in Wales
Charles has photographed 20 of the most important and interesting gardens in Wales for a book ‘Discovering Welsh Gardens’. Stephen Anderton is the author and the book was published in March 2009 by Graffeg.
